Afghan Women Solidarity Concert Belfast - International Women's Day 2025

The event that took place on a peace line in Belfast UNESCO City of Music 8th March International Women's Day with the Ulster Orchestra and special guests, represented the greatest number of orchestral works by female artists & composers from Afghanistan ever presented together in a single orchestra concert.
Complimenting the concert was a fringe programme with businesses, schools, women in music and community organisations.
The concert and fringe programme was funded by Northern Ireland business community, philanthropic and public donations.
