To my great friends in Northern Ireland

I am facing my PC typing with all the affection and appreciation for you all. I am very happy to have had the opportunity of walking the streets of Belfast and its neighbour territories, its mountains to observe, learn more about part of their culture and share with people of different generations, styles and professions who are strongly committed to the transformation of many problems affecting our society today. I feel fortunate that life allows me to meet people who are believing and betting on art and its different verbal, sound, programming languages, visual and sensory as creative tools that feed the soul transforming lives and territories.

It was nice to give a part of my artistic knowledge capture through colors, textures and shapes, different messages of freedom, of life and of hope. A clear example was to be able to intervene and paint in the youth club of Ardoyne,where birds and plants painted on the wall made possible another language with the inhabitants of the area, especially with children and young people who found other perspectives of muralism and aesthetics that this technique integrates. It was wonderful the reaction of the most small when identified with the range of colors and with the visual vibrations that mural radiates by itself, in addition that this place is immortalized a part of the great
heart that there is in Suacha - Colombia, because this artistic interaction created a bond affective and creative between these two sectors of the world day after day.

Another of the special and important moments was touring different schools and to interact with their teachers and students, as these schools become for many young people their second home. And it is there where they learn various tools for life and where large numbers of these young people discover their potential, their passions and have the fortune to go to planning their life project based on what their families and their context can provide. Painted the walls of schools that children and young people travel daily was very gratifying, since they observe the entire process of creating the murals were involved, their creative curiosity is aroused and their concerns were resolved an artist hoping to be supported, listened to, watched and applauded by his friends, by their communities, and especially for families looking for so they feel not far away from the arts, if not instead realize that within each of these there who are the main engine to continue creating with discipline and love.
Now, unfortunately not all children and young people of the world have the same economic, cultural and social opportunities to fulfil their dreams. But what is true is that most of the new generations have the courage not to withdraw and give the maximum of their being to contribute to the transformation and social justice we long for. Art and love are the main tools and strategies we use to achieve this positive transformation that benefits us as human beings and the territories that we inhabit and walked every day.
Finally, I am grateful and happy that each day and each tour in Northern Ireland meant many positive things that allowed reaffirming that peace-building not only should be limited to each country and each nation. Peace-building must break barriers and be a global construction where every human being can also contribute to other territories with their wisdom, their culture and their skills. Because they will be supplemented and will allow the weaving of peace from the difference, where each one can contribute little or a lot to make this world more peaceful and happier and avoid keep perpetuating structural violence and wars that we run out and we they destroy.
We must continue to build with different languages that art provides us, because I am sure that therein are the answers to all the social problems that we inhabit on a daily basis.
And we must not forget that Together We Grow - We Are Seeds. #ArtsDialogue

Para mis grandes amigos de Irlanda del Norte
Estoy frente a mi Pc escribiendo con todo el cariño y agradecimiento para ustedes. Me siento muy feliz de haber tenido la oportunidad de caminar las calles de Belfast y de sus territorios cercanos, de observar sus montañas, de conocer más de cerca parte de su cultura y de compartir con personas de diferentes generaciones, estilos y profesiones quienes están fuertemente comprometidos con la transformación de muchas problemáticas que vive nuestra sociedad actual,  que afortunados somos de que la vida nos permita conocer personas que están creyendo y apostándole al arte y sus diferentes lenguajes  verbales, sonoros , visuales y sensoriales como herramientas creativas que alimentan el alma transformando vidas y territorios.
Fue bastante grato brindar una parte de mi conocimiento artístico al plasmar mediante los colores, las texturas y las formas, diferentes mensajes de libertad, de vida y de esperanza. Un claro ejemplo fue poder intervenir y pintar en el club juvenil de Ardoyne, donde las aves y las plantas pintadas en la pared posibilitaron otro lenguaje con los habitantes de la zona, especialmente con los niños y los jóvenes quienes hallaron otras perspectivas del muralismo y de la estética que esta técnica integra. Fue maravillosa la reacción de los más pequeños al identificarse con la gama de colores y con las vibraciones visuales que mural irradia por sí mismo, además que este lugar quedo inmortalizado una parte del gran corazón que hay en Suacha – Colombia, pues esta interactuación artística creo un lazo afectivo y creativo entre estos dos sectores del mundo que día a día siguen pidiendo agritos vida, arte y color.
Otros de los momentos especiales e importantes fue recorrer diferentes colegios y poder interactuar con sus profesores y estudiantes, pues estos centros educativos se convierten para muchos adolescentes y jóvenes en su segundo hogar. Y es allí donde aprenden diversas herramientas para la vida y donde gran cantidad de estos jóvenes descubren sus potencialidades, sus pasiones y tienen la fortuna de ir planeando su proyecto de vida con base en lo que sus familias y su contexto puedan brindarle.  Haber pintado los muros de los colegios que a diario los adolescentes y jóvenes recorren fue muy gratificante, ya que ellos al observar todo el proceso de creación de los murales se sentían involucrados, su curiosidad creativa se despertaba y sus inquietudes eran resueltas, buscando así que no se sintieran lejanos de las artes, si no que por el contrario se dieran cuenta que dentro de cada uno de ellos hay un artista esperando ser apoyado, escuchado, observado y aplaudido por sus amigos, por sus comunidades y especialmente por sus familias quienes son el principal motor para seguir creando con disciplina y con amor.
Ahora bien, Infortunadamente no todos los niños, adolescentes y jóvenes del mundo contamos con las mismas oportunidades económicas, culturales y sociales para cumplir nuestro sueños, pero lo que si es cierto es que la mayoría de las nuevas generaciones contamos con la gran valentía de no desistir y de entregar al máximo de nuestro ser para contribuir a la transformación y justicia social que tanto anhelamos, donde el arte y el amor son las principales herramientas y estrategias que utilizamos para lograr esa transformación positiva y propositiva que nos beneficie a los seres humanos y los territorios que habitamos y caminamos a diario.
Para finalizar me siento agradecido y feliz de que cada día y cada recorrido en Irlanda del Norte significó muchas cosas positivas que permitieron reafirmar que la construcción de paz no solo se debe limitar a cada país y a cada nación, pues la construcción de paz debe romper barreras y ser una construcción mundial donde cada ser humano pueda aportar a otros territorios parte de su sabiduría, de su cultura y de sus habilidades. Pues éstas se complementarán y permitirán seguir tejiendo paz desde la diferencia, donde cada uno pueda contribuir con poco o mucho para que este mundo sea más feliz y más tranquilo y evitemos seguir perpetuando violencias estructurales y guerras que nos agotan y nos destruyen.
Debemos seguir construyendo con los diferentes lenguajes que el arte nos brinda, porque estoy totalmente seguro de que allí están las respuestas a todas las problemáticas sociales que habitamos a diario.
Y no debemos olvidar que SOMOS SEMILLA.
