The Rain Song is an Indian Raga. Amita was inspired hearing the rain stick instrument played by Tessa. The sound remined her home in India during monsoon season - the beauty of the sound, green fields and feeling the freshness of the water on her skin. The song lyrics were written by Amita describing the rhythm, sound and feeling of rain and telling the story that the natural world around us is happy to see and enjoy the rain as a time of nurishment, renewal and healing.
